I’m always amazed how Paul continues to create original melodies and chord progressions. His songs have a familiar feel to it, but you cannot “hear” other songs within this song. A real credit to his ability.

He just keeps on making great music!
He sounds really good even though he’s not 20 anymore! I love paul!

well lennon and mccartney used to write songs together, i’d be surprised if paul’s solo stuff was completley different to john’s

It’s very late Beatley and kinda like John Lennon’s solo stuff (Jealous Guy maybe)

I don’t know who the guy with Paul at 2:47 is, but I’m pretty sure it’s not Giles Martin.
March 11th, 2010 at 12:49 am

Who’s the guy at 2:47 sitting next to Paul?
Somehow I feel like I should know him. . . .

McCartney is a genius. the song is just so beautiful and stick to ur mind from the first time u hear it

This is McCartney as he should be – classy simple songwriting and singing – no un-necessary gimmicks to try and sound modern or “keep up”. Hope the next album has this quality – like “Flaming Pie” did.

Paul McCartney’s ability to put simplicity of a song that you can enjoy the lyrics and can’t help but sing along with, and then add the complexity of orchestration, guitar riffs, and a touch of Beatlesque into to the mix is absolutely brilliant. He does it in such a subtle way. Anyone who fails to see or hear the genius of this does not have an ear for talent or music.

ロバート・デニーロが良い。
ポールも一時より声が出るようになってパワフルになっている感じがする。

The Fireman stuff is where its really at! Paul is at his best when there’s risk taking and not a re-tread. This song is definitely better than most of ” Memory Almost Full” which in this writer’s opinion was musical doggerel at best. If it’s fiuller not killer, don’t bother. I quite like it though I wish he’d get together with Brian Wilson and do something, while they both can!!!!

Why does it take all that production to record such a simple song?
March 11th, 2010 at 7:15 am
Good luck with it.
