Flashy And Classy – Get 24 In. Rims For Your Car

It really doesn’t need to be said, it can be seen – 24 wheels ARE extremely big. This is because they are made for vehicles that are just as big – like the Bronco. However, people are always trying to make their cars “bigger and better” than those of their neighbors, so they often put them on cars whose stock tires and rims are of average size – causing their idea to be stopped in its tracks. Can your car somehow be rigged so you CAN drive it with big rims? And, what kind of cars could you jazz up with them?

Well, first things first. You should know that regular and compact cars can’t hold these rims properly due to differences in structure and design between their normal sized rims and the extra large ones. In fact, placing them on your vehicle without taking the proper precautions is to ask for a possible roll-over on the freeway – or a frozen steering wheel that causes you to have an accident. To prevent this from happening, you will need to have special modified tires put on your particular car, so they can accommodate the rims.

So now that the good news has been delivered, here is a short list of just a few of the cars you might “trick out” with 24 inch rims. (And please remember that the definition of a tricked out automobile might be different to different people).

The Station Wagon – A longtime symbol of the stability of family life, this automobile can be decked out with giant rims. And the next time Mom drives to a PTA meeting to meet with the teachers, she can distract their attention away from Johnny’s slipping grades – and redirect it to a vehicular phenomenon they never thought they’d be witnessing.

An AMC Gremlin – The poster-child for “ugly car”, this poor vehicle has been looked down upon by Pinto owners for years. But now you can give it its rightful moment in the spotlight for once. Slap those special tires and giant rims on it and drive your Gremlin proudly down the main street of your town. For once you’ll be looking DOWN on all the cars and drivers that have laughed at your car’s humbleness. This little automobile deserves it.

Chevrolet Chevelle – This is one car that always looks GREAT with big rims and there aren’t many people who would disagree. In fact, this classic is meant to sit high up in it’s regal position – just resting long enough before it takes off at the speed of light, blowing all the other cars off the road with it’s huge engine – and HUGE rims that spin so fast the car becomes nothing but a blur to the spectators watching it.

The Hearse – You will have to stretch your imagination for this one, but try it on for size. What better way to publicly make a final farewell to a fun-loving friend or relative who has passed away than by bringing him to his big send-off in a style as original as he was? Of course, you will probably have to own one, or know someone who owns a hearse, and doesn’t mind you swapping out the normal wheels and rims for the modified tires and gigantic 24 “inchers”. And, just think of the legend you’ll create for the person being honored. In fact, it may start a trend with those people who “pre-plan” their memorial services.

So, it’s pretty clear by this short list of ideas that you can put 24 inch black rims on any car you like. Just remember to get those special wheels and tires installed on yours BEFORE you attempt it.
